Čubura

Unless I was with a Serbian friend, I would have never found this restaurant. Cubura is an old institution in Belgrade, serving the traditional Serbian Grill; You will find there an interesting mix of people, of different generations and social backgrounds. It's also the headquarters of old actors, who often go there for a drink and some snacks. This is definitly a very popular place among locals;

The food reminded me of the mediteranean cuisine, with a very nice Sopska salad with tomatoes, cucumber, onions and feta cheese.
They serve all kinds of grilled meat, chicken, pork and beef. The Kebab is particularly tasty;
