Blauw Utrecht

Blauw Utrecht is a good choice if you want to try something different, to add a touch of Indonesia to your Dutch vacation. I love this restaurant for the quality of the food and its young and friendly staff.

I was nicely surprized of the perfectly combined flavours and the good taste of the food, the rice table with shrimps is particularly delicious. The sauces seemed a little bit too spicy for me, although my friends said that they aren't that spicy.
The one thing I did not like was the crowd, but I guess that's how it is when the food is good.

Those who are used to authentic Indonesian food and flavours won't be disappointed. I personally had many Indonesian and Asian food, but it cannot be compared to the food at Blauw Utrecht.

All the plates have descriptions in English as well and each plate is well-described. I've mentioned before that it is crowded, so if you consider going on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon it would be wise to make a reservation, otherwise you might end up without a table. Less
