Casa Lucio

Casa Lucio is THE Madrilan restaurant by excellence, and one of the most famous ones. HRM King Juan Carlos goes there for their famous eggs and potatoes, but they also prepare very good meat and other typical dishes;

The restaurant is located in Calle Cava Baja, one of my favourite streets of Madrid, full of bars and restaurants where you can really feel Madrid's spirit.

The atmosphere is very typical from old taverns and restaurants, like many restaurants in this very old neighborhood of Madrid;

Of course, as in all very famous places, prices are high, and you can find cheaper tables in the neighborhood;
If you're in town for a few days and you don't mind spending a 50 EUR/pers meal, than you shoudl definitly try Lucio;
