De Pinte

Belgium is not all about beautiful towns like Ghent, Antwerp or Bruges, it is also about little charming villages where you can go especially cycling. If you don't have a bicycle you can always rent one, as you may have gotten used to in Belgium. Once you have your bicycle you can start to make your way through the little roads of the village admiring its beauty.

You will feel as if you were in a totally different world and you will certainly get charmed by all those little houses, cobble-stoned streets. You will see typical rural landscape with animals, large wheat-fields and the beauty of the surroundings will somehow put you as well in a good mood. You can even ride along the Schelde river. During your ride you will hardly see any cars or anything else besides people on bikes, it's as if cars and any other were banned.

You can get to Pinte by taking the train. It is really close to Ghent, you will have to go only one station, which lasts for maximum 15 minutes. I recommend the bicycle ride from the bottom of my heart to all those who like to go for long rides and admire the beautiful surroundings.
