Giethoorn is a charming little Dutch town, considered the little Venice of the Netherlands. In this little town cars are prohibited, so you can reach it only on foot, by bike or by boat or canoe because it has many canals.
Along the canals you will find typical Dutch houses lined up ( the Dutch very proud of their houses) and little wooden bridges which connect the canals to the houses.

There are two main activities you can do here: go boating or explore the countryside on bike. There are many guided tours provided so that tourists could discover the charm of this little village.

I recommend Giethoorn to all those who want to have a great time in a relaxing environment. It can be a good honeymoon destination as well!
