Guincho beach

Guincho beach is located in Cascais, which is a coastal city found between Lisbon and Sintra.

After having the pleasure of knowing many beaches throughout the world, this is most probably my favorite beach. Possibly the most beautiful I know, it's characterized by high cliffs and and a long sand strip. Excellent surfing conditions and windsurfing as well (can get windy at times...).

You can eat at the Muchaxo restaurant, which is on the "left" side or at Bar do Guincho, which is on the "right" side and serves excellent sandwiches accompanied by lounge beach music.

A treat for the eyes and a purifier for the soul. The water is cold but everything else is hot...Less
