Heureux Comme Alexandre

Heureux comme alexandre is a restaurant specialized with Fondue savoyarde (melted cheese), Fondue Bourguignonne (Meat in hot oil) and Pierrade (à la plancha).

They have a 16 EUR "All you can eat" formula for each, and at this price level, it is simply unbeatable in Paris. We tried both fondues and they were really good. The salad and potatoes side dishes are ok, nothing outstanding, and same for the deserts. But you don't go there for the salads, you go there for the fondue;

The white wine from Savoye that they proposed was really nice, and also at reasonable prices.

The atmosphere is "à la bonne franquette", which means that simple and authentic, tables are really close to each others as many restaurants in Paris.
The service was a bit uneaven, one waiter being friendly and efficient, and the other slow and unfriendly;

I definitly recommend this restaurant for Fondue and Pierrade lovers.
