You don't have that many hotels in Mende, but this one is particularly interesting. It was taken over by a young energitic couple in the early 2000s, and they tranformed it gradually from a very old and badly maintained hotel to a charming one with well renovated rooms. Of course, they increased the prices with that.

They provide excellent food in the restaurant, and the rooms have been renovated with taste. The service though is a bit unsteady and approximative.

When booking, I would advise you to call the hotel or send an e-mail in order to confirm the price. You can also negotiate the price displayed online if you go there on a low season. Be sure to ask for a renovated room, as the last time I went there were still 2 stories not renovated.
The hotel is located in the city center, 5 minutes walking from the Cathedral and Place Urbain V, the main square of the city. Less
