L'écritoire is one of these old Café in the Latin quarter, who have been here for ever. Although it changed ownership a few times, you still have this intellectual spirit given by the Sorbonne University students and professors.

They serve good food at reasonable prices, especially if you take their formulas.
A 4 course menu at 29 EUR is unbeatable in the neighborhood.
