La cantine took the place of two famous restaurants in this neighborhood, the Napoléon-Chaix and Côté Vignes; It perpetuate well the tradition of a cosy and friendly atmosphere; The modern decor is very nice and they have a nice terrasse in this nighborhood just next to Parc André Citroen, which evoluted a lot the last ten years, passing from popular to average/high end.

They serve traditional french bistrot food with a twist of originality. The food is well prepared and presented, but the service is a bit slow though.

They offer very competitive formulas, with a2 course menu for 16 EUR (Lunch) and 20 EUR (Diner) and a 3 course menu for 20 EUR (Lunch) 24 EUR (diner). For this quality, it's a super price;

In addition, they have a variety of wines which are at very reasonable/cheap prices, with many bottles around the 20 EUR.
