After being a successful modern tapas restaurant, Lateral became a chain with 6 retaurants around Madrid.

What I like a lot there is the quality of the food, with a great Salad Lateral composed of Tomato, Mozzarella and Jamon, a bocadillo de Solomillo con foie and other well prepared tapas;

What I don't like in Lateral is the service, quite long and often not very friendly and no reservations allowed.

The decors of all of their restaurants are modern and stylish, and it's the case of this one, plus a great terrasse on Plaza Santa Ana, one of my favourite places in Madrid.
