Le Méridien Penina Golf & Resort

Le Méridien Penina is a nice Golf resort in Portimao, with a great 145 hectares (360 acres) estate, with an 18 holes and 2 nine hole courses, making it one of the best Golf courses in Portugal.

The hotel pretty large and sort of 70's or 80's style, which is not that charming. Nevertheless, the rooms are large and recently well renovated.

The hotel's restaurant are good and the breakfast buffet rich and tasty.

The hotel has a nice swimming pool as well as sport and leisure activities for adults and kids (Penguin Club, tennis, football, fitness,...)

The only real issue with the resort is that you will need a car / cab to enjoy the beauties of the Region in Alvor, Portimao and Lagos where you have nice beaches and good animation.
