Le Bareloup is a small neighborhood bistrot next to Charles Michel square in the 15th district of Paris.

I discovered it thanks to a friend living nearby and I must admit that I was really surprised with the quality price ratio.
They propose a 2 course menu at 14 EUR and a 3 course menu at 17 EUR, which is a bargain for Paris.
But more importantly, the quality is not forgotten at these prices, and for 17 EUR, I took the home made Foie Gras which was absolutely delicious.
As main dish, I took a 350g Cote de Boeuf from Aubrac which was quite good, and finally a café Gourmand.

The place is quite small but pleasant, and has a TV where you can see the main sports events;
The service depends on who is serving you, and although the manager was very friendly, the waitress at the bar was not very pleasant.

I will definitly come back for the Foie gras and the meat, when wanting to enjoy a good meal at reasonable prices.
