Pères et filles

Pères et filles is an old institution in this charming neighborhood of Paris, just next to the marché rue de Buci and a bit aside from the big trousit flow of Rue de Buci and Rue Grégoire de Tours.

The decor inside is warm and simple, and the terrasse is nice in good weather.
The menu also is quite simple, with traditional french dishes mixed with some Asian flavours; The food is ok but nothing outstanding, and the quantities served are really small, even for Paris.
I had a filet de Dorade which was well prepared but really tiny, accompanied with Quinoa, and mu friend had an onglet de boeuf.

The service is accpetable, the waitress was friendly and smiling, which was not the case of all waiters there; We were lucky;

Nothing really outstanding here, but a typical Parisian bistrot, definitly nicer than what you have in the touristic streets around, but you'll fnd better deals in rue Mabillon and Rue Guisarde.
