After being rewarded 2 stars in the Michelin Guide for his gastronomic restaurant Le Carré des Feuillants, Grand Chef Alain Dutournier created this "bistrot" as a sharing place of good dishes and products. All dishes are presented in 3 or more portions in order to be easilly shared between the guests, and this is precisely from where the name comes from: "pinxer" means to grab or even picking from a neighbor's plate, in Gascony - the Homeland of the Chef.

The food is definitly good, with premium products served, refined presentation, always with the 3 portions idea.

I was a bit disappointed with the meat (entrecôte), which was a bit hard despite being very well grilled. It was probably dure to the meat itself.
The rest of the plates we had where tasty and well prepared.

Prices can be very reasonable if you take the 24 EUR menu which includes a Salmon Salad, the 250g Entrecôte and the Café Gourmand (3 small deserts with the coffee), but if you choose à la Carte dishes, the bill will go up very quickly.
We ended up paying 65 EUR/person, with one 24 EUR menu, 2 apetizers (Foie Gras and Ham) and a 3 course menu à la carte, accompanied by 2 glasses of very good wine, a bottle of water and a juice.

So if you want to eat well there, you should normally count 50-60 EUR/person.

The service is friendly and explains well the dishes, but yet sometimes a bit long to come to the table.
