Plage de l'Estagnol

La plage de l'Estagnol is one of the most beautiful beaches in the Mediterranean and France, and as such, one of the most popular in the region.
It is on a privatly owned domain which saved it from constructions and located between two rocky outcrops. It is also very popular for its shady pine forest and the amazing lagoon with shallow water, in which you could walk for a few hundred meters. This provides an amazing sensation as well as a safer bathing for children.

Unfortunatly, due to its beauty, it is overcrowded in July and August, and if you go there in the affluence peaks, you might not find a place to lie down on the beach, and the toilets will be in bas shape.

They have a mandatory parking for 8 EUR (9 EUR in July and August), and there is a restaurant (Chez Richard) in the pine forest which offers varied food, from Pizzas, to steaks and of course Fish. Prices are a bit high, but usual in the region in the summer.Less
