Poiana Brasov Resort

Poiana Brasov is a beautiful resort not far from the city of Brasov, about 10 km. The resort is renown for the wither sports that can be practiced here but also the natural beauties that can be admired in every season. Hiking is also recommended during summer, plus all kind of activities like swimming and horse riding.

I personally been to the resort only in the Summer time and I can tell you that is great!

I this year I climbed the Postavaru summit for the third time. A cable car takes you very close to the summit from where you have a 5 minutes climb. The view is amazing, you really have the feeling that you are on top of the world.

The resort has some amazing hotels, restaurants and activities centers. As I said winter sports are the number 1 activity and in the winter ridding in a horse-drawn sleigh is very popular.

During the warmer time of the year, horse riding and hiking are very relaxing.

All in all, a holiday here can transform into the best holiday ever: winter sports, hiking, mountain climbing, horse riding, great accommodation, restaurant and discos; plus Brasov, the most wonderful city in Romania at a 10 km distance. Less
