Queen`s Day ( Koninginnedag in Dutch) is celebrated in the Netherlands on the 30th of April every year.
If you happen to be visiting Amsterdam during this period don` t be surprised of the multitude of people dressed in orange. I don`t think that on this day there is one man in the Netherlands who doesn`t wear something orange.
The Dutch call this ``oranjegekte`` which means ``orange craze``. There are a number of activities organized on Queen`s Day and to take part in some of them can be an interesting experience, but make sure that you have something orange on you!
