Café des Bricoles is located along the La Vilaine river, very close to the Place de Bretagne.

It is a small bistrot with traditional decoration, and which used to organize live concerts at night. It seems that they stopped doing it due to complaints from the neighbours, but the Manager remains a very joyful lady and puts good atmosphere in the place.

I was really surprised ito have that level of food quality which is similar to good level restaurants. The plates were very well presented, very tasty and well prepared.
For 17 EUR, we had a 3 course meny which is great considering the quality of the dishes.

A very nice and cosy address in Rennes, away from the touristic paths.
