Sawadee

I've been living for almost 20 years in the neighborhood, and tried most of the restaurants except this one, although it became pretty famous and recommended by tens of guides;

We had the Sawadee Menu (for 2 persons) which included 4 plates:
- a great shrimp soup
- Very good spring rolls
- Nice fruits de mer
- and tasty beef with basilico and pepper

The food was really good!

For the rest, nothing exceptional, the service was OK, but not that friendly for an Asian restaurant, the decor of the place is nice but the carpet where we sat was pretty dirty, and there was no music.
The restaurant is in the 15th district, not a premium location touristicly speeking.

Finally, for 45 EUR/pers including a very bad 1/2 bottle of wine, it's not a cheap restaurant.
My friend was even more severe on the Atmosphere and Quality/Price grades.Less
