In our trip in Zakynthos we learned some things about Scooter rentals that I would like to share with you guys!
- Ask around which is the safest place to rent a scooter from. Although the island is full of rentals not all of them have the same quality services.
- Try to bargain the price, you have big chances to get a great price.
- Read the contract that you sign carefully.
- Ask about the fuel in the tank (do you receive it full or you have to pay extra )
- Try the scooter and check for technical problems. We did not realized that the break of you scooter was not working properly and it wasn't very fun to find it out on a steep road.
- Always use the helmets. You will feel a bit safer and protects you from the sun.
- Although is very hot in Greece try to wear long sleeves while you drive around, unless you want a really strange tan.
- Make sure you take the scooter back at the hour the rental company said. You don't want to pay extra! Less
