Spoon Cafe & Lounge

Some of my friends took me to the Spoon Cafe & Lounge, they said that here I will surely have an unforgettable experience and they couldn't be more right! The location of Spoon Cafe is just excellent, being situated at the foot of the Chain Bridge it offers an excellent view, which is why it is the choice of many tourists or culinary enthousiasts who happen to be visiting the Hungarian capital.

I liked the fact that this place is in fact a big boat, which has a lounge, a café, a club, terrace for the summer as well as a winter garden. Having all these in one location is a huge advantage! Various weddings, conferences or other gatherings are organized here.

Although we hang out only in the lounge, I had to go to throw a look at the winter garden as well. It is a magical place, with glass walls and an absolutely stunning view, it must be great to sit there in the winter enjoying your meal. The atmosphere in the lounge was so calm, as there was live piano music playing.

Spoon Cafe & Lounge is ideal for those who want a romantic evening, simply go out with friends and family or for curious tourists who want to taste some good dishes. In comparison with other restaurants from Budapest prices are higher, between 5 and 20 €. I have nothing to reproach, we didn't had to wait long for our meals and altogether the service was impeccable! For me the portions seemed huge, but that is different from one person to another, some of my friends said that they could eat even more.

This restaurant is easy to find and is open all year. Even though it is big, I would advise you to make a reservation beforehand, some nights (especially on the weekend) it is really crowded and you can end up without a table.Less
