The Butcher Shop Grill

I ate here on a Saturday afternoon. The restaunt was quite empty so getting served wasnt a problem. Ordered a fillet (260g), medium well, grilled with mushroom sauce and chose aside of chips. Had a bit of the complimentary bread, which was a nice touch, but didn't want to fill up on it. The fillet arrived and it was cooked perfect. Crustly on the outside, with those nice charred marks, and perfect on the inside. I was worried that it would be grisly because it looked abt sinewy when I cut it, but that wasn't an issue at all. The meat was meltingly tender. It was very enjoyable. D'nt forget to order a nice goat cheese salad as a starter, a must try, specially with its strawberry sauce that ads an interesting taste to the salad.

Would go back and try the pie- the table behind me hadn't and it smelt divine! Less
