The Church under the Fantanele lake

Romania is renowned today for being one of the countries in eastern Europe that were most affected by the communist movement.
One tourist attraction in Romania is related to the communist party decision making is the The Church under the Fantanele lake in Belis. Tens of years ago the decision to build an artificial dam in the region was made, the only problem was that the village got flooded and the people were forced to move their settlements at a higher altitude.
Year after, during the summer time when the water evaporates some of the tops of the hoses and the church can be seen. What is more, divers can swim among the underwater buildings and streets in a experience of a lifetime!
