The Gathering - Wine Bar

The gathering is a new concept in Beirut where 3 old houses were transformed in 3 restaurants, beautifully renovated. In the middle there's an open aire courtyard for smokers, making these 3 restuarants one of the very few non smoking places in Beirut.

The wine bar serves a mixture of Lebanese, Spanish Tapas, as well as French Cheese and delicatessen. It has a beautiful cellar on one of the bar's walls and an interesting collection of world wines, including some famous ones such as Chateau Petrus.

I particularly recommend the Chicken with Summak rolls, which are really super tasty.
Good cheese too and a very nice service.
