One of the festivals that attracted me greatly is .... Holi - The Festival Of Colours from India.

In India, the coming of spring is welcomed with a feast of colors. Also on this day of celebration, millions of Hindus around the world get together to throw colored powder into each other, transforming the "battle" places in oases of color.

Tradition says that on this day, the power of good defeated the evil and burnt it, literally. According to the legend the son of one of the biggest demon from Hindu mythology had become a believer in the great god Vishnu. His father tried to kill him in every way, but it failed. Holi celebrates precisely this victory of good over evil.
