The National Museum of Contemporary Art

I am not a fan of contemporary art, but to the recommendation of a friend I decided to visit the National Museum of Contemporary Art situated in Bucharest. I have to admit that I wasn't that amazed by the collection and it wasn't that interesting as I imagined it would be. There is no permanent exhibition, only temporary ones you will see probably the works of some great Romanian artists. Before deciding to go you should check the museum's website in order to see if there is any exhibitions worth visiting.

However, on the fourth floor of the building there is a café where you will get quite a nice view of the East of Bucharest and the cappuccino is amazing. So I would advise you to go with the view and the cappuccino.

The museum is part of the Palace of the Parliament, so if you are with car you should search for a parking space and go by foot to the Museum of Contemporary Art. You will have to pay an entrance fee, which is around 2€, really cheap in my opinion.Less
