All of us, travel lovers, have at least once been forced to go on a trip with just a carry-on luggage. For me this is a total mess, the perfect time to get stressed and to spend some time sitting on my bag! But luckily, there are ways to avoid this and to pack even for a 10 day trip with no space problems.
Rolling, not folding!
Folding clothes may seem the logic thing to do when preparing a luggage but it definitely does not work in most of the times. So, I did a bit of Google-ing and it seams like rolling is a way better idea.
What to pack???
Think activities, destination, weather and go with practical. The only things that you don't care about are the ones that you wear which should be the ones that take the most space: jeans, long sleeve shirt and sweater, a jacket, and shoes.
Now, for the rolling part:
-Choose colors that will match any outfit
-Think about using skirts if you are girl and some light material pants if you are a boy, if the weather allows go with shorts.
-Lightweight sweaters and v-neck tees are just perfect.
-At least one dress/shirt is a must
-Swimsuits don't take so much space so three can be a great number.
-When it comes to shoes, remember to take something lighter that the one you are already wearing.
-Cosmetics should be put in one small bag.
How to fit all of this perfectly?
Put the shoes along the edges of the bag, then add the jeans, pants, and whatever has more volume, on them should go the lighter clothes. Wherever you seam to have space, fit the rolled underwear and a pair of black thighs to go with the skirts of the weather is a bit cold. Cosmetics and other toiletries go on top!
That is all! The main idea is to roll the cloths, how many you decide to take and which colors and materials that depends on you and your luggage!Less
