Transilvania International Film Festival

2012 brings the 11th edition of TIFF - Transilvania International Film Festival.
Since 2001 the festival has grown both as a brand in Romania and as a renowned international feature film festival.
In 2011, TIFF has joined the list of competitive specialized film festivals,being accredited by the FIAPF (Fédération Internationale des Associations de Producteurs de Films/ International Federation of Film Producers Associations) as a film festival specialized on first and second feature films.
During the festival Cluj transforms into a huge cinema with tens of international films that are screened in different indoor and outdoor locations and bringing together thousands of viewers. All these numbers are the result of a brilliant organization and most of all a result of the quality of films presented at the events.
The festival has brought to Cluj-Napoca different personalities and for some Lifetime Achievement Awards were offered; among them Michael Radford, Franco Nero, Catherine Deneuve, Claudia Cardinale and Wim Wenders.
