Vakvarju

If you are looking for a restaurant where you can experience traditional Hungarian cuisine, the Vakvarju restaurant can really be a good choice.

The food was good, they really have variety (you will be able to see it from the menu). I've dined here several times, but it was always crowded, perhaps because it has good reviews and is renowned for serving traditional Hungarian dishes.
I found the staff very friendly, we didn't have to wait long until they came with our order, the food was still warm and very tasty. If you have no idea what to choose from the menu, I would recommend to try the goulash soup. The langalló is also a good alternative for something traditional, it is said to be the Hungarian pizza.

If you want to go with kids, you will be happy to hear that there is a small playground for children, therefore you don't have to worry that they will be bored.

All in all, I can't say that this is a cheap restaurant, there are others where you can eat cheaper in Budapest, but the quality of the food is worth every penny!Less
