Vatra Dornei

Vatra Dornei is situated in Suceava county, a resort which is surrounded by mountains. Since there are mountains, you can go hiking, there are many hiking trails at the ease of tourists. If you want a map with the trails there is an office outside the train station where you can ask for information and you will receive a map as well.

The city center is small and you will walk around very fast. There is also a small park, which you can visit. It`s true that the benches are a little outdated, but it is relaxing to take a walk there. Through the park you can get to the spot wherefrom mineral water can be taken. You can take water with you if you have a bottle and you will surely see the inhabitants all coming for fresh mineral water. The weather conditions for this region are not that good, I was there twice and it was raining both times, so to have an umbrella would be a good idea.

I would recommend this town for all those who want to escape from all the rush of the town and enjoy a few days of tranquility. By a few days I mean 2-3 days, as the town is small you don't have things to do there on a longer period of time.Less
