Viscri - the fortified church from BuneÅŸti commune

The fortified Evangelic Church of Viscri from BuneÅŸti commune (Brasov county), was built in XIII century on an ancient Roman basilica dating from the twelfth century.

Viscri village was forgotten in the mists of time, but now reveals a rustic atmosphere pure and untouched by the modernism of the current times. Visiting the village of Viscri is like a return in time to see the houses, the habits, the traditions and the crafts of yesteryear.
