You do NOT have to be a war buff to visit the Warsaw Uprising Museum! It is not a typical "war" museum. It is an essential piece of Polish history and culture, and it is portrayed as such. It also manages to achieve the rare feat of being both scholarly and interactive. I have been there with women and children visitors from a number of countries, and all of them learned a lot, enjoyed the museum and were glad that they went.
