Zeist

Zeist is a town situated very close to the city of Utrecht being located in the center of the Netherlands. If you plan on spending a few days in the Netherlands I would recommend to search for a hotel or camping site in Zeist. There are several reasons why I recommend this.

Firstly, as it is not situated in a big town like Utrecht, Rotterdam, The Hague or the capital Amsterdam the prices per night are lower than in the big cities.

Secondly, since the Netherlands is quite a small town, you can get around really easily and there are many means of transportation at the ease of tourists. Zeist is really close to Utrecht, you can even go by bike (if you rent one or have one of your own) and enjoy all the wonderful surroundings.

Zeist is a really green spot, but I'm afraid that what attractions are concerned there aren't so many, you will have to go to Utrecht for them.
This is why I recommend Zeist for all those who want to relax, enjoy the fresh air and ride a bike, like the Dutch do, in a nutshell feel how it is to be Dutch. In fact, it is said that you will begin to understand the Dutch only when you will feel invincible while riding your bike and there`s some truth in it after all.

By opting for Zeist you can enjoy the tranquility and in the same time be able to visit, after all the Netherlands is a small country and you can get in just a few hours from one place to another.Less
