Abba Madrid Hotel

I chose this hotel mainly because my meetings where in near by Maria de Molina street and in Salamanca area. The location of the hotel is practical since it is very close to the airport road, thus avoiding Avenida de America traffic jams when wanting to leave the city.

The hotel is decent, with rooms relatively spacious, but which can use a bit of lifting. The reception is tight and not designed in a very friendly way, and is definitly not at the standards of a 4 stars hotel;

If you're noise sensitive, ask for a quiet room when booking, which are the rooms not giving on Avenida America. From these ones, you have a nice view on Madrid on the upper floors, but you have the noisiness of this main access;

Wifi is free in the rooms, which is always pleasant, and they have a parking for 14 EUR/night;

I paid only 65 EUR/night for the room in November, which still makes it a very good quality price ratio. For the same price, you have the nearby Mariott AC Avenida America, which is newer and calmer, but with a bit smaller rooms;Less
