Besides the Cathedral, Santo Tomé is the most visited church in all of the city, thanks to possessing the el Greco paintings, among which "The Burial of the Count of Orgaz", considered to be one of the greatest masterpieces of all time, placed above the Count's tomb.
If you are an art lover, you should'nt miss that one, and if you are not, for 2.5 EUR, you'll be able to contemplate one of the world's most famous paintings.

The church by itself is a historical monument and dates from the 12th century, although it was completely rebuilt in the early 14th century by the Count of Orgaz. The tower is one of the best examples of the Mudéjar art characteristic of Toledo.
