Away from the highly touristic cities in Europe for a long time, Lisbon is definitly a very charming European city, and the biggest city in Portugal.
You have a special feeling when you are in Lisbon, being on these hills just in front of the Ocean, with the mixture of its small narrow and simple streets, and its large richly decorated avenues.
A very interesting mix, giving Lisbon a very specific identity. The small yellow trams, the Santa Justa elevator, the magnificient praças dos restauradores, Dom Pedro IV, do Comercia and Da Figueira, are definitly worth a visit.
It is no hasard that Lisbon became one of the most trendy cities in Europe. I will definitly go back to visit this city again. Less
