Sovata Resort

For years I am going to Sovata for some relaxing days of spa, salty thermal water and some beautiful sightseeing.
Considered the pearl of Transylvania, Sovata is the target of many tourists that search for a quiet and marvelous place where they can enjoy both the nature and some activities that include swimming, going to a spa or enjoying some really tasty gourmet from this region.
Just when you think you can do this in other places also I have to add that the number one attraction in the salty Bear Lake. The Sovata resort was built around this lake and on shore there are many spas that offer treatments with salt water and other benefic natural elements.
During Summer people can swim in the Lake offering them an experience of a lifetime, swimming in a salt lake at over 500 meter in altitude in a space surrounded by forest. A curiosity of the lake is that at 1:00 p.m. you can hear a siren of war that announces the people in the lake that they have to exist the lake and let it to rest for two hours and a respect for being a nature reserve.
I recommend this resort not only because it's my personal favorite place in Romania but also because it is really beautiful and the accommodation and other services have the best quality/price rate. Less
