Taberna el Tempranillo

Among the many tapas bars in calle Cava Baja, el Taberna Tempranillo is definitly a great one in terms of atmosphere and quality of food served.

The place is very nicely organized around a rounded bar, just in front of a huge wall full of wine bottles. Needless to say that thay have a wide selection of good spanish wines, as well as very well prepared tapas.

The food (Pinchos and Tapas) are made with very good quality products: the bread is still crispy despite the sauce, the jamon is very good, and there is always a twist of creativity.

At the end of my diner, I saw my neighbour having a beautiful "magret de pato" served in a very hot pant. It looked ans smelled great, and I will definitly try that next time.

If you want to have diner on a table and not just tapas at the bar, it's definitly better to book a table by calling them.
